This theme is based on the old PGV "simply green" theme.

Installation is simply a matter of unzipping the downloaded zip file and copy the unzipped "greentrees" folder directly into your webtrees/themes/ folder.
It will then appear as an option in the theme selection drop-down menu.

This version of greentrees can only be used with webtrees v1.2.7

Initially designed for PhpGedView, here is the Rural theme for webtrees.

It is mainly based on brown tones, as a tribute to the earth our ancestors used to cultivate, with some green, color of nature. Contrary to the majority of themes, it does not use the whole width of the screen, but wrap the content within a white panel on a brown background.

The installation is as easy as the other themes: just copy the rural folder in your ./themes/ folder. You are invited to change the header image by yours, simply by replacing the file ./themes/rural/images/header.png by a personal one. There is only a constraint on the heigth which has to be 150px.

I will try to update the theme each time a new version of webtrees is released, but I apologise if my professionnal or personal life does not allow me from time to time being as reactive as the developers. Please do not hesitate also to let me know any bugs or improvements you could find, either through the forum (username jon48) or my personal website.

09 Feb, 2012: This theme is NOT compatible with the latest version of webtrees. I plan to update it after the release of webtrees 1.2.7, which is due quite soon.

This is the Tones theme for webtrees 1.2.3.

The theme has now been updated to be compatible with webtrees 1.2.3 and many additional tweaks were done.

There were zero problems reported for the first couple of versions of the theme so this can be considered a stable release. No problems were found in any browsers that it was tested in but I make no guarantees. If you have any problems with it please send me a message and I will try to correct it asap.

The Tones theme is a modified version of the colors theme. It currently has 5 sub-themes. The major difference is that is a bit more graphically oriented and the graphics change with each sub-theme. Many of the icons and other graphics have been redone (again). It is fully compatible with RTL languages. One difference from the colors theme is that it is possible to switch the sub-theme, aka "Colour Palette", even when theme switching is disabled. That means you can use Tones as your primary/only theme and still allow users the ability to change the color scheme to something that might be more pleasing to them. That colour scheme changing now has a toggle. Please see the Configuration Section in the readme for more info.

This theme is based on CSS3.
The best results may be observed in Google Chrome browser. Some features may be inactive in other browsers.
