This web site covers a number of families. The main family being the Meads family from New Zealand.
A considerable amount of the data on this site was sourced from the publication "Meads family tree" that was produced in the 1980's for the New Zealand Meads family reunion. This publication was edited by Pauline Meads & Diane Fletcher.
The data included on this site is an upto date list of descendants of Joseph Meads (See favorite below) as well as many branch pedigree records.
The site also includes William Groocock (see favourate below) and quite a few of his descandants. This data was enhanced by Samantha Hoy/Graham Hutchinson who has provided the non Meads arms of the Groocock family
The Scott, Smith, Goodhue, Colpman and Wilson families were supplied by Lianne Wilson

Here you will find information on families related to the surnames BOOTES and BOOTS worldwide as part of a One-Name Study. These surnames originate in two main regions of England: East Sussex and Oxfordshire/Berkshire, separated possibly by the English Civil War. Some East Sussex BOOTS were pioneers emigrating to America and Australia during the poverty years of the 1820s and 1830s following the Napoleonic Wars. These, and their related families, can be found here. The BOOTS may or may not have come to Sussex with William the Conqueror, or may or may not be Huguenots from Holland coming somewhat later. The GOWLAND families relate to my maternal ancestors which are solidly established in the North Pennine lead mining regions of Weardale, Teesdale, Allendale, and Tynedale crossing the counties of Durham, Northumberland, and Cumberland. This site includes the family trees of my paternal / maternal grandparents: GRINT, GRAY, FORDER and SKIPPER. All four families originated from Norfolk in England, at least as far as my current research shows, although there is anecdotal evidence (unproved) to suggest Dutch ancestry on my GRINT line. Being of Norfolk lineage, my ancestors have connections with the boot trade, dying (that's as in dyer), brewing (Norwich, Norfolk's capital, once had a pub for every day of the year) and, of course, agriculture.
